Family Kitchen started as Bounmy “Mae” Phimmasone's little corner shop — the same red-brick building she still cooks in today. She brought her family's recipes from Laos, and cooks every pot of broth and pounds every papaya salad the way her mother taught her.
We're off the main road, easy to miss, and that's kind of the point. The people who find us tend to stick around.
